The 'Costiera Amalfitana' is an area of sensational coastal scenery of limestone cliffs, serpentine roads and terraced lemon groves. Hillside villages and remote monasteries have long been connected by a series of ancient footptaths which are popular excursion routes for walkers.

Visitors are rewarded with stunning views of the Meditteranean coastline whhose 'Lattari' mountains rise nearly 5000 feet steeply from the deep blue sea. Wildflowers decorate the hillsides in spring and cyclamen carpet the woods in autumn.

Daily, you will have several options - painting, sketching or photographing with Jann; shopping and touring or just relaxing at your own pace. You may paint in any medium. The choice will be yours. Non-painters welcome!

Jann Pollard, NWS will be the instructor. Open to all levels of artists and in any medium. We will be capturing the moment through photos, sketches and small, plein air paintings. Jann has led tours in various locations since 1997.

ITINERARY - 7 DAY WORKSHOP

Accommodations

We will be staying in a 3 star hotel, just around the corner from the sea front in Minori, a 5 minute drive from Amalfi.

Day 1: Pick up at Naples airport

Days 2 - 7:
We will be painting around fishing harbours, coastal views, gardens, architecture with street & alleyways, and an area where lemons grow in abundance.

Some of the sights we will visit are Capri, Ravello and Positano. The day in Capri will be by private boat and will be mainly an excursion, but students can take their sketch books.

Day 8: Transfer Naples airport Departure by minibus

If at any time during the workshops you wish to take time out, please feel free to do so.
